Bezier

An asm routine for drawing a Bezier curve

(by ron thomas)

An example of how to draw a Bezier curve. It's written in asm and permits "pulling" the line using the mouse.

The source code is very compact and it's based on a C routine from Charles Petzold.

This article is online from 2892 days and has been seen 5103 times

Bezier.exe

This is another demo derived from the "C" example in Charles Petzold's
"Programming Windows" 5th edition.

It demonstrates the use on GDI calls to draw an interactive Bezier curve. This curve
is determined by 4 points. The start and endpoint of the line and two control points which
act as tangential magnets to these two points. The left mouse button controls Control point
1 and the right button Control point 2; both click and drag actions are supported.

Files included are:-

Bezier.exe The demo
Bezier.asm the source
Windows.inc by Steve Gibson/Iczelion
Makefile for building the program

The size of the program is 4K compared to 24k for the "C" version !
